Software Engineering professionals work across the Service Delivery Lifecycle to analyze, design, build, test, implement and/or maintain multiple system components or applications for Accenture or our clients.
Job Description
Solves routine problems largely through precedent and referral to general guidelines.
Interacts within own team and with direct supervisor
Receives detailed to moderate level of instruction on daily work tasks and detailed instruction on new assignments

Individual contributor as a part of a team, with a predetermined, focused scope of work
Key responsibilities:
- Adapts existing methods and procedures to create alternative solutions tomoderately complex
- Understands the strategic directionset by senior management as it relates to team goals.
- Uses own judgment todetermine optimal solution to recommend.
- Primary upward interaction is withdirect supervisor or teams leads. Generally interacts with peers and/or management levels at a client and/or within Accenture.
- Determines methods and procedureson new assignments with minimal guidance.
- Decisions often impactthe team in which they reside and occasionally impact other teams.
Qualifications:
- A degree in computer science or informatics
- Experience in Java
- 1-3 years of development experience (Unix and Windows)
- Experience with UML and software design patterns such as GoF
- Working knowledge of technology architecture standards and frameworks
- Verbal and written communication skills in English
- Experience in developing IT applications and deliverables throughout development life cycle
- Ability to build, manage and foster a team-oriented environment
- Ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment
- Desire to work in an information systems environment
